I love the hc that Hermes helps Odysseus build his raft in Dangerous, but imagine that the raft that he build was TERRIBLE

and Hermes being the god of travels, seeing those two pieces of planks of wood and a stick, he would be like: you built this shit? DARLING THIS ISN'T EVEN AERODYNAMIC WHAT IS THIS SAD EXCUSE OF A "RAFT"

kay just thought about something real quick

so after Odysseus stabs the shit out of Poseidon, he leaves him there laying in his own blood and goes home, but our guy HERMES was watching, understandably very scared just waits till he leaves to help his uncle.

he called Apollo for help since (correct me if im wrong) i headcanon that he is one of the few who can heal gods (i hc that he healed Ares when he got injured by Diomedes in troy) so Apollo came and was like WHAT THE HELL HAPPEND and Hermes was like 😰 and Poseidon was like 🧀

and that's it, i haven't thought anything else past that lol, maybe ill do a lil comic for this idea

my interpretation of Hermes is that he gets along with all the gods, since his job kinda depends on it, and he is also a great guy so it would be very nice of him to help his uncle Poseidon. He truly has no enemies
